Adaptation: Jekyll Garden Designs

Below are several examples of garden layouts and designs created by Gertrude Jekyll. So far I've been trying to imagine where key structures are located in the garden without any solid layout plan. By looking at Jekyll's designs and planning out my garden in a similar fashion, I can take out all the guess work in the layout and have something structurally sound that my concepts can adhere to.

After a chat with Phil, he recommended looking at garden designer Gertrude Jekyll to help get a better idea of how to 'plan out' my garden.

Jekyll loved gardening for beautiful effect and is best known for huge herbaceous borders with colour schemes running from cold (white,blue) to hot (orange,red) and back to cold again.
